Welcome, and thank you for visiting Wadsworth FISH. We are blessed that you have stopped by. Our organization was started in 1969 to help keep low income families: in their homes, warm, fed, and clothed. We are an all volunteer 501 (c)(3) non-profit, faith based organization, governed by a Board of Directors consisting of 15 members from various local churches and community partners in the Wadsworth, Ohio area.
The name "FISH" comes from the fish symbol that was secretly used by early Christians during centuries of persecution to identify themselves to one another. We use this symbol today to represent "neighbor helping neighbor" and caring for one another.
Our services include:
FISH News
Emergency and short-term financial
assistance

Referral services to surrounding county agencies

Adopt a Child or Family for Christmas program
The Wadsworth FISH Organization is a non-profit dedicated to providing emergency short-term assistance to Wadsworth and Wadsworth Township (Ohio) residents in need.
If you, or someone you know could use help from Wadsworth FISH, or if you would like more information on how you can help, please visit our contact page.
